Welcome to March in which we celebrate Women's History Month. Political shenanigans aside, I'm pretty pleased with how 2017 is going.
Last year I learned that artists should aim for minimum 100 rejections before giving up. I'm not sure if that's 100 per year or in my lifetime. I've definitely been rejected over 100 times in this life. So far, I've submitted to 7 of 10 writing contests and fellowships. I feel pretty great about this considering I edited over 85 script pages, wrote 5 entries for Just Being Funny, and other writing projects.
Here's what I've been up to. Happy International Women's Day!
